NOTE: Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have temporarily changed our mini-grant policies:
Submission Deadline: your application needs to be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on the last Wednesday of the month to be considered for the month. If submitted after this time, your application will not be reviewed until the next review date.
Acceptance: We will only be awarding two mini-grants per month; due to the limited amount of grants, please be as detailed and specific as possible and put time into crafting your application.
Review date: final Thursday of each month.
Clever Octopus believes everyone deserves art, and that is why we have created the Clever Octopus Mini-Grant. The Mini-Grant will save teachers and non-profit organizations money on supplies, so that they can focus on sharing the love of art with all of their students and participants.
The purpose of the Clever Octopus Mini-Grant* is to provide assistance to schools and organizations that have a need for project materials. The maximum amount awarded per application is $50. If awarded the Clever Octopus Mini-Grant, you will receive art materials from our creative reuse center totaling the dollar amount you are awarded.
For any questions, please email kacy@cleveroctopus.org.
*To be eligible for the Clever Octopus Mini-grant, your organization must either be a school (K-12 or Higher Education Institution) or a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
*If awarded, your mini-grant will EXPIRE at 6 PM the day of your FIRST event.
